そして最も伝説的なジャズシンガーは誰だと思いますか？
歴史上数々の素晴らしいジャズシンガーがいる中で、誰が一番というのは決めかねてしまいますが、お気に入りのシンガーの一人がSarah Vaughanです。
Sarahの声は大変深くそして温かい。歌唱力は文句なしの唯一無二な存在。
ジャズを勉強し始めて歌声を初めて聴いた時から大きなリスペクトをいただいています。

2017年にSarah Vaughanへの敬意とリスペクトを詰め込んだ、自身3枚目のジャズアルバム「Words Can’t Describe」をリリースしました。

Sarahが生涯で発売したアルバムに収録されている楽曲から11曲を選曲、その内数曲はイントロ・エンディングもそのまま再現。世界観の描写に挑戦しています。
ここで「Words Can’t Describe」という楽曲をピックアップしました。
ジャズスタンダードではない楽曲で、Sarahが歌っているバージョンの録音以外インストゥルメンタルも含めて聴いたことがありません。なかなかレアなジャズ楽曲ではないかと思います。
上記「Words Can’t Describe」も含め、さまざまなジャンルのレコーディングを手がけたSarahの特徴的・印象に残る楽曲を収録しました。

たくさんのリスペクトが詰まったこの3rdアルバム「Words Can’t Describe」をたくさんの人々に楽しんで頂けますように。

-INTRODUCTION-

Who is your favorite jazz singer?
Who do you think is the best among the legend jazz singers?
There are a lot of great singers in the history and one of my favorites is Sarah Vaughan.
Her voice is really deep and warm, and her singing technique is one and only.
I really have a big respect for her when I started to learn singing jazz.

In 2017, I released my 3rd jazz album “Words Can’t Describe” with the respect for Sarah Vaughan.

I chose 11 songs from all the songs that Sarah released through her lifetime, and I transcribed the introductions and the endings of a few songs of them, since I wanted to portray her world.
I picked up a song called “Words Can’t Describe”.
This song is not a jazz standard, and I don’t know any recorded versions except Sarah’s. I think it’s a pretty rare jazz song.
Also I recorded some jazz standards and songs from other genres too.

I want many people to enjoy this album with a lot of respects for Sarah Vaughan.
